  as a chef: THIS is freakin hilarious, A kitchen is the biggest ball busting environment around, this is just priceless. we give the F.N.G. an unholy amount of shit, even made a few quit. and yes you call the chef "CHEF" cuz hes either worked in the biz for YEARS or he owns the damn place. you get screamed at all the fukin time, and all you say is YES CHEF. no matter what.

  to the guy who didn't get it.: The head chef (dude from Hot Fuzz) has a really high squeaky voice, the new guy goes and talks to another guy who has a high squeaky voice and the veteran tells the new guy he has to talk in a high squeaky voice. Now this is of course just the veteran pranking the new guy into thinking that everyone speaks in a high tone all the time; as everyone goes around talking in high voices until "chef" returns to convince the poor new guy.   cool!: everytime I see some show where the lower cooks call the chef "Chef", it always seems like a sexual submission thing, it's the tone, I don't know... sounds like "yes, my uber-master, are you liking the inside of my butt? is it tight enough, Chef?" hate it.
