  Random mouth opening. Rofl. And another way to tell that it's NOT fake -- his nose gets steadily longer the whole time. Your nose and ears are the only parts of you that continue growing through your entire lifetime. And, random note, he got his eyebrows plucked a lot.

   you guys are missing it.. on like the 3rd day he puts up a screen behind his face, and he keeps the same screen for all 17 years. that way he can take the pictures with the same background to highlight his facial growth.. plus if you look to the edges of the screen you can see the back-background changing a ton

  Give the poor guy some credit for creativity, idea and preservance in taking that many pictures. Let's be more open minded. - Did we forget there were regular film cameras before digital? He could of simply digitalized/scanned his photos for this project. - There's nothing wrong with living in the same place for several years. i am sure many of your parents have too. Plus he started in his 20's, an adult and old enough to be on his own. - Us surfing the internet is probaby more waste of ti

  If you look at the very first picture, then skip to the last, you can see he has aged. We don't see ourselves aging each day (nor the people we see on a daily basis), but when you look back at your old pictures you see the difference.

I guess he knew that in 1991 the internet would be a such a huge thing that he thought..."Well, I guess I should take a picture of myself everyday for the next 17 years so that I can put it up on the internet" Which by the way was pretty much just started out for home use.
