@miller0613jojok983, horizontal component of velocity is constant. It doesn't increase the further away you get. Air resistance will reduce the velocity of the ball, making it unlikely to knock someone off a swing. Also, hitting him in his centre of gravity (torso) will not provide the torque necessary to rotate the body hence flipping it off the swing.
