Somehow these people have gotten this this Tesla coil to resonate at different frequencies to play music. Pretty cool to watch, even cooler to hear.

Another moronic description! They have rigged something to trigger the tesla coil with the output of an electronic keyboard or other musical device. The coil is not making the music, it is responding to it. Very cool, but a stupid person assumes the music is coming from the Tesla coil.

@SSSNNNThey used a MIDI keyboard. MIDI can act as a switch to turn the coil on and off... the strikes are completely randon to the sounds, it's just being switched on and off with MIDI keyboard.

tetris sounds like: poop on that thing. it would be better if they got like four of these things in different sizes so they could get the best sound out of each frequency range. that way it could play harmonies and melodies, and the higher frequencies wouldnt sound so forced. Interesting technology, effective but still needs work.

@hipnadewtf?: hey just bcuz you cant understand what he is saying is no reason to lobotomize him. and he's right, it would prolly sound alot better with more working in unison, and no matter how good a new invention is, nothing is perfect. great idea but like hipnade said, it could use a lil work

@hipnadeTesla coils have much better uses than making noises. This is not the most efficient way to make electronic sounds either. These guys are just messing around. This isn't the wave of the future for electronic sound by any means.
