   too bad that game was in mississippi break.... and the shitty camera angle doesnt show that the ref tried to side step out of his way and he shifted with him leaving the ref to fend for himself... not to mention he saved him from gettin drilled by the linebacker that B-lining for him...

    @Rockstar23WRONG... game was in SC.. i go to school at USC.. i saw the play with my own eyes and have watched many replays and the ref without a doubt hit him on purpose... it didnt matter really becuase we still got a touchdown but i was pissed, even if he was going to be drilled the ref is not there to make plays... so please STFU u do not know what your talking about

    @Rockstar23oh bullshit......the frickin ref knew what he was doin.....the refs interfere way to much in games today ....he needs to be strung up at the goal post and footballs thrown at him.....if i was the QB.. when i got up i wouldv thrown the ball at his face.......the ref is a asshole and should never officiate a game again not even little league....who knows what he'd do to them.........................

  It's an UMPIRE not a ref. (hence the big U on his back), he hits the QUARTERBACK, not running back (which would be half, tail, or fullback), and it's the HOME TEAM that he tackles, so not exactly home field advantage when you're adding a twelfth man to the defense... DESCRIPTION FAIL

    @rusty23545Looks fake, but it is not. That is what is shocking about it, the ref really did square up and lunged at the player. I think he should be fired for clearly trying to change the outcome of the game. You can actually see him stalking the player getting ready for it. You can see it on sports sites like ESPN and FOX sports.

    @rusty23545this isnt a commercial. its a play from the LSU vs. S. Carolina game. and that wanst the running back, its S. Carolina's quarterback. and this is not home field advantage. this game was played at S. Carolina and you can clearly see the ref putting a hit on a SC player. but it was an accident by the ref. he was trying to get out of the way and he had nowhere to go so he did what he could, defended himself and put the player in the dirt.

  the player makes a cut into the ref while the ref was mid stride. His intention was to run behind the QB and get behind the play (which is what he's supposed to do) The ref interfered but not on purpose. It happens (look at Hochuli in the San Diego vs Denver game - and that's professional)
