This dog is awesome. He runs full speed and grabs onto a rope with his teeth which launches him about 10 feet into the air.

Damn man eaters and spring poles!: I've owned and raised several of these dogs and I've never seen a mean side in any of them. Never even so much as a growl towards another dog or person. They have the biggest hearts of any dog I've owned and their personal drive is nothing short of amazing. I love to see that there are others out there that have as much love for this breed as I do but it's still sad to see that the majority of the population is ignorant and stereotype the breed because of hearsay and rumo

Bull...shit aside,: It's called game, gamie, etc.: When a dog puts it's whole heart into doing what it loves to do and will keep trying to do it's absolute best for the approval of it's keeper. Can be athletics, search, fetch, tricks, riding shotgun or whatever they love to do with or for their people. I think it especially fits Bully breeds. Anyone whose ever been around one personally knows what I'm talkin' about. This dogs got it. Do you?

1 more thing: And PLEASE ppl do your research on pits. They do NOT have locking jaws, just incredible will to not let go of something they want. I would drop dead of amazement to find proof of locking jaws. People treat these beautiful dogs as homicidal man eating monsters just cuz some assholes got their hands on a few of them

ugh: Yes, american bulldogs are a real breed, and although the rope is exercise (and alot of fun) for the dog, it is linked to fighting just as treadmills are, I saw no marks on this dog in the video to make me personally think this was a fighting environment. And BTW Roadstar, Pit bull terriers do not all have a "mean streak" only the ones that are trained to by ignorant stupid assholes that use this great breed of dog for selfish purposes. I own two, and neither one of them have a mean streak. Its all ho

    • FeuerFrei1205

      FeuerFrei1205 - 2 years ago

@bullymomActually: they do have a mean streak. It's in their genes. They were bred for hundreds of years to protect farmers/explorers from bulls and bears. They are natural born killers

      white_men_cant_crimp - 2 years ago

@bullymomk, you're both right: they were bred for fighting, as were english bull terriers, but so were sharpeis, and no one feels threatened by a sharpei. all that there geneology does for them is makes them better at learning to be a fighting dog, just like in people a history of addiction makes addiction easier. but, the way the dog is raised is almost 100% of how it turns out. that said, substitute the rope fr a guy climbing over a fence and its kinda scary

  • k_man

    k_man - 2 years ago

I Second That!: I agree. The dog did not get killed, wounded or hurt in anyway so no abuse. He, in no way forced that dog into holding on to that rope. All I have to say is lighten up.

Ridiculous: Are you crazy?? This dog is having fun! If anyone gets something out of it that is harmful, it's because they were already looking for it. PETA wants to phase pets out completely. Not my words, theirs. No thanks. I hope you keep it up, cab! Have your fun.

American Bulldog: This is an American Bulldog, and it's real. I have an American Bulldog myself and they are unbelieveably strong and athletic. Mine will bite down on a rope and I can pick her up off the ground with it and swing her around in circles. She also can crush tennis balls in her mouth. These dogs were bred to be able to grab onto the throat of an adult bull and crush its windpipe until the bull suffocated. So their jaws are like a vice. It is like a Pit Bull, minus the mean streak. They are very

Oh well...: It's a fake dog anyway. And there is also no such thing as a swing rope like this. Sorry to let you all down. This is Hollywood at it's best.

And By The Way: About this whole "that's impossible" stuff. I've owned most working breed dogs. I'm not quite sure if this is Pit or Bulldog. I'm leaning more toward American Bulldog. My American Bulldog could do exactly what this dog did and then some. The shear momentum of the hit would easily carry the dog that high. I've watched mine make a standing leap over the side of a raised F250 from the ground into the bed, and never touch the truck. Believe it. It's real :D

Dog Fighting Nonsense: I've trained dogs professionally for over 8 years now. All that rope is, is an outlet for excercise. Connecting this to dog fighting would be the same as calling a casual hunter a serial killer. He MUST have that gun because he kills people for fun. He MUST practice at that shooting range because he's an insane mankiller. What illogical thinking.
