Actually from my own experience, it takes a lot more skill than "tournament" fighting. First, if you only know one style you get you ass beat. Second, they don't stop you after each hit and give you a point. Third, You either lose by getting knocked out or subbed, not point accumulation. And lastly, the way in which they fight demands a lot more physical development. I'm not saying that regular martial artist are pussies, I'm just saying that MMA is a whole different world.

It is just as much a sport as any other sport. Some people like football or soccer, some people like mixed martial arts. Besides, it is the most physically demanding sport out there. It isn't just about rage or brawling. It takes skill, technique, and precision to do what they do. Some of the nicest guys out there do it because they like to, you sir know nothing.

 This "sport" is for retards who likes fighting, and I wouldn't call it a "sport". Beating eachother up like that is no where near a sport, they have a bad temper.
