Don't Tase Me Bro: In 2007, John Kerry was giving a speech at the University of Florida. During that speech, Andrew Meyer began yelling questions from the audience, and his disruption was met with force from the school security guard. Trying to get out of the situtation without getting Tased, he yelled "Don't Tase Me, Bro!" He was Tased, and as he went down, an internet catch phrase was born. It is #7 on the list of Top 50 YouTube Videos from Time Magazine.

    He was on private property and it was more than apparent that he was asked to move and chill out quite a few times. He didnt listen. When they tried to remove him from the room he resisted officers, more than just a little bit. Would you rather they have an all out brawl and have to kick the kids teeth in? Getting tazed isn't that damn bad.

    whatever happened to freedom of speach? they illegally tazed him...plain and simple...clear case of force without reason. they wanted him to shut up because he was talking about shit that needed to be talked about..they didnt like it, so they go against the constitution and do what the do best....brutalize the public.

    Our police are out of control: I have no idea when this happened but police have become much much more agressive and trigger happy (with tasers especially). A couple decades ago police were much more patient and polite to the people they were dealing with. Even when they were drunk or ranting. Now police are like "do what I say NOW or you will be tazed!" Let he kid finish his damn speech. And who cares if he isn't obeying your every oder? That doesn't mean you should try to force him away from the mic. Ker
