so nice of those guys: to give up a life of sex, earning real money, having friends, so they could show us 30 seconds of wind.

@fbipeeperWhat an ignorant post...: 1. My father storm chases as a hobby and "somehow" manages to maintain a rather well paid job with GE, a home life and several friends. 2. It's all about knowing what to look for. You spend enough time in school, you would have learned that you can pretty much predict tornadoes nowadays. You look at a radar and pay attention to humidity, it's not brain science to find a wall cloud. 3. It was 3 minutes and 13 seconds of wind...

sucky chasers...: its a twister its not a tornado 'cause it haz no funnel!!!

    • saabdriver

      saabdriver - 2 years ago

@bmxer1996Idiot...: A tornado is a rapidly circulating column of wind, that is developed from a thunderstorm, typically a supercell. The vapor cloud (funnel) does not have to extend all the way to the ground to cause damage. As soon as debris is visible in the circulation, it has attained tornado status and touched down. Also, a tornado that hasn't touched down is called a funnel cloud, not a twister.

LMAO real deadly tornado. Watch around 1:16 - 1:19 & you will see a: bird fly through it without even blowing off course....too funny

    • carrothead38

      carrothead38 - 2 years ago

@Stu_Padasowatch: around 2:00 and see it rip a tree out of the ground. maybe stronger than you think

    • Woman_Of_Honour

      Woman_Of_Honour - 2 years ago

@Stu_Padasothat looked: like debris, not a bird. The tornado seems like an F2 or so...stronger than you realize.

    • Morris_g

      Morris_g - 2 years ago

@Stu_Padaso-_-': The bird didnt went through it u damn retard! it flew just about 10 feet front of the camra guy! Dumbass Mexican!

    • Muggles

      Muggles - 2 years ago

@Stu_PadasoMorris...: People who use phrases such as 'didn't went through', and type 'camra' rather than 'camera' should not be calling other people dumbasses. Really, they shouldn't.

Sometimes i wonder...: since most tornadoes travel slower than 50 mph and most cars can travel faster than 50 mph. it seems like you could outrun them, say, 90 percent of the time if there is a road leading away. But the experts say otherwise, i guess.

    • MattShiloh

      MattShiloh - 2 years ago

@peglegmerleThat would be because....: You might be able to outrun the tornado, but if you are running from one that is close like this one was, you are under the "wall cloud", where there is rotation and the potential for additional tornados. So while running you can inadvertantly run into another one, or into large hail, thrown debris, or flash flooding. It is safer to get out, seek shelter, or get in a ditch.

oh wow: That was like what, 100-200 feet wide? How about the 1.7 mile F-5 that destroyed 95% of some town in Kansas last week, let's see that one.
