These soldiers roll over an IED device which detonates creating a crater 10 feet deep and 100 feet across. The back of the Humvee is ripped off. In fact the only space within this entire area that wasnt completely destroyed is the small area there sitting.

    The reason they're alright is....: because that's how Humvees are built. The passenger cabin is reinforced more than the rest of the vehicle for that specific reason. They designed it so that you can run over explosives and survive. Just didn't know they could withstand a blast that leaves that large a hole. That must've been a big blast. "Anyone with clean shorts raise your hand."

      @Over_sightThey can't: call for assistance their comms were destroyed in the blast. Stay in the vehicle their might be more IEDs in the A.O. Their buddies will take care of perimeter security and cas evac. At that point the only thing to really worry about would be a sniper.

    I dont like the politicians because I think this war was over resources...: But I cant fault our brave guys who try to do their best every day, because THEY believe that they can serve and that their country will do good by their sacrifice. This politicial war isnt the case IMO. Glad these boys were alright.
