  let me shed some light: as an infantry soldier who was in iraq for a year. they did not say why they demolished the tower but could have been for many reasons. 1)snipers, yes snipers they do exist. 2)locals could place an ied there and wait for troops to come by. 3) locals could have asked for help removing it so they could build a new one. 4) who knows if thats iraq or not. could be kuwait or afghan. 5) all iraqis dont hate everyone so dont make snap judgements
