   i watched this on a recap for snipers on a tv special. the sniper was watching the mans body language and posturing, it was his intentions to blow the cylinder out of the revolver which he managed to do. After being detained the suspect said "that was one hell of a shot, and thanks for not killing me"

  I heard this sniper speak at a hostage negotiation seminar in Baltimore several years ago (2003, I think). He said that the rifle scope he was using brought him in so close that he decide to place the bullet wherever he wanted on that guy's revolver. I remember him saying that when the pistol exploded in the guys hand, 'he didn't know whether to sh!t or wind his watch!'

    @SWATguy9613A great gun and scope is nothing if not properly sighted and in the right hands. Grade A work for sure. Probably not the world record longest shot, maybe 100 yards? 200? Should be able to place a group of rounds within .25" without a problem. Great timing with the angle though- good-bye gun, bag the bad guy...
