  That suit is: an invention of one Finnish guy. They've also made some small jet engines for those suits. I heard they've flown over the Gibraltar already.

The person you are referring to is Visa Parviainen. He was the first person to fly a wingsuit with rocket boots for Bird-Man. The inventor of the wingsuit is Patrick De Gayardon from France. And yes there has been a flight across the straight of gibraltar. They exited from 40,000 feet with temperatures -50 Degrees.
