IT IS CALLED TOP ROPING AND HE FELL AND TOOK A KING SWING INTO THE TREE: HIS FAULT FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION, THOUGH BY LOOKING OT THE ROCK, I SEE A LOT OF CHALK ON IT SO IT IS A POPULAR ROUTE. he wasn't rappelling: he was cleaning the climb (social outcast in Rumney, NH). He doesn't know how to do it so when he took the last quickdraw out he swung out since the route is so overhung, and hit the tree.
