Not a fake at all, cam mounted to helmet/goggle strap (that is the way they look during playback). That type of snow doesnt always come up at all from the tires and that was some of the most gnarly ridge riding I have ever seen. The last little off camber climb took huge nutz to do...screw that up and it is a long way down

Lmfao at everyone who thinks this is fake. He is wearing a Go-Pro strapped to the side of his head. At that perspective, anywhere he moves his head, the angle doesn't change. His head bounces with each individual change in the landscape. He isn't going to move his head up and down, because he is inches away from a horrible fall if something goes wrong. He even looks slightly to the right at 1:12, and then at the end when he stops. This is totally legit.

This is a total fake. Don't watch the bike/trail, watch his helmet. Where is the camera mounted? Why doesn't it ever move? no snow or mud on his front tire? BOGUS!

@Riley-Anderson-927I'm assuming you were looking at the big black area in front of his handlebars, that would be part of the fender smart guy. If you knew anything about motorcycles you could see below the fender at certain points and you CAN see snow on the tire.

@Riley-Anderson-927Camera's mounted to his goggles, probly a contour hd, i got the same setup, and you can't see any dirt stuck to my tire either when you watch the vid.

fake, a good fake, but fake. temperatures are about freezing and the front wheel never picks up snow or mud or ever throws any. anyone who's ridden a bike in the snow knows this is beyond the traction/stability capacity of a motorcycle. enjoyed it though.

I love how everyone is trying to decipher whether this is fake or not; who would actually go through all the trouble to edit this video frame by frame so that he can bask in the knowledge that he's fooled the internets with pseudo viral video?

Not fake. If it was, that dude has some mad editing skills. The bike moves perfectly with the trail and the go pro cam is shock resistant. This isn't a shi#y sony handheld camera, people.

why is the camera not shaking or his head moving

    • Jeff887

      Jeff887 - 4 months ago

@it's a GoPro attached to his helmet, therefor the bike moves below him independently.

If this is fake, props to the person that walked on the ledge to get the shots. I couldn't imagine crawling on all 4s to get these shots. Big balls, i think not, enormous gargantuan balls is more like it.
