That was a warning nip because she got too close. if that massive dog had actually bit her aggressively she would only have half a face left. Looks to me like a sweet dog with defined space boundaries. snooch to the booch!!

I thought these dogs were banned in the US. I know a lot of countries around the world do ban them. That being said, who puts their face that close to a strange dog??

This dog was stressed, he was showing all the signs of it. It is a shame the owner did not say to the news lady that it is best not to get down there like that, maybe they did not feel comfortable saying that while being taped. It was not the dogs fault at all! She should NEVER have tried to kiss a dog that does not know her, is already stressed from all the lights, activity and strange stuff going on around it. That dog did NOT attack her, it was a warning nip to keep your face away. Non dog savvy peo

To be honest this lady had it coming. For one that dog is probably traumatized and two why the hell would you put your face that close to a strange dog. Her ignorance is mind blowing.

I agree with diverdave76... I own three amazing pits that are highly trained. I know my dogs and they would never hurt anyone. BUT, they are only animals. people forget that! we can not expect the dog(s) to be social like us. if someone put their face in my face, and i didn't like it, i would say something. DOGS CANT SPEAK. You never treat a dog like its a human and expect it to react the way you want. this dog is scared and freaked out with all the attention. this anchor woman was wrong for what she di

I have 3 mastiffs each over 100 pounds and a small child. They have never shown aggression for anything. They do get aggressive when there are STRANGERS invading their territory and personal space. They are the best. Nothing would have happened to her had she respected the dog and the breed he is and kept the calm atmosphere in the first part of the interview. Food for thought....Why didn't the dog attack the person saving him in the ice?
