I have 2 computer screens so I dont need to pop out videos I play WoW on 1 screen and watch big-brother live on the other one. Also it's dumb to poke a hole in the top of something for obvious reasons, you can buy a rubber sheet that is made for opening jars.

If you have a swamp cooler and want youre house to smell nice add 1 cup of youre favorite fabric softener to the water reserviour. Youre home will smell nice and becauce its a water softiner it wont damage youre swamp cooler pump.

Another tip: If you get an oil base paint on your skin, use olive oil and salt to clean your hands. Works every time.

a dry erase expo marker will erase a permanent sharpie marker.

  @Durbinator I learned this at work on accident as well, however, a small bit usually kills the dry erase marker and you can use 2-3+ easy

Cola also works better than any over the counter chrome cleaner. Can of Cola, dish sponge wipe clean with paper towels. Also, newspaper works better for drying windows than paper towels or cloth rags.

Instead of ruining the jar my puncturing the lid you can bang the back of the knife blade against the lid. You make a few tiny dents in the side where the lid bends over the jar. Viola it opens easy.

If you have a hole that is stripped out by a screw, say on a door hinge, insert wooden toothpicks into the hole to fill it up, snap off excess and you will then be able to tightly screw in the screw.

  @skippingrocks Also works great for those times when you need to adjust the position of something like a hinge just a fraction of an inch and the screw keeps slipping into the old hole.

Auto mechanics, farmers, and other people that carry out oily work or with old grease, break dust etc....tend to use strong chemicals, soap with small plastic balls or even gasoline to clean fingers.... here is a tip i been using for years! use a foam washingcloth ( for babies buttoms ) together with ordinary liquid handsoap. it is actually better/faster performance than gasoline and MUCH better for your skin. -enjoy! greetings from Denmark.

  @sabotage31 apply the oil, or perfume to a cold bulb BEFORE turning it on. If you apply cold liquid to hot, thin glass, it will shatter spectacularly.

  @sabotage31 you used to be able to buy little ceramic rings that you could place on top of the lightbulb that held a small amount of oil. If you can find them, they work much better and they don't crack your lightbulbs.

How about cleaning up a wax spill.... an iron and paper bag does the trick. The paper back sticks to the wax as the wax is remelted... it re-cools and sticks to the paper bag (newspaper, paper towels, etc.) and is easily lifted

Instead of sticking a knife into the lid of a container, try using a bottle opener to get some air in which will allow the top to come off easier. Also it saves the lid.

This word Hack is used way too much and for not the correct reason. Basically if you do not have advanced knowledge of computer programming codes and how to circumvent them you hacked nothing. Looking over your sister's shoulder and seeing her password for her email doesn't count either.

Compared to the first video this one was a lot less helpful, also if a jar is stuck why not just tap on the top of it; stabbing it seems a bit..overpowered?
