Nothing was more embarrasing than when your phone rang in the middle of a big lecture. But what I never could understand was the people who actually answered the phone in the middle of class. Apparently this professor doesn't appreciate it either.

    Hah! In my Anthropology 101 class a few years back, we had this one girl who was always loud and obnoxious and NEVER muted her cell phone. One day, she played dumb when it rang and just ignored it...we could hear it coming from her purse, but he teacher just ignored it. Then it rang again..and again..and again...and on the 5th time, the dude behind her reached into her purse, grabbed the phone, yelled "TURN OFF YOUR GOD DAMN PHONE!" and hurled it as hard as possible against the whiteboard in the front of th

    professors take it too personally: I fuckin pay to be there in class... His ass gets paid to be there anyway to teach his shit... not to make sure people pay attention... as a teacher... i want the kids to learn, but if they don't... big freakin deal, they pay, its their money they're losing
