Awesome clip of wrestler David Schultz a.k.a. Dr.D. This video is from 1984 when he slugged John Stossel from 20/20 two times after John asked him if wrestling was fake. John received between $280-450k in an undisclosed lawsuit from the WWF and David was kicked out of wrestling by Vince McMahon for life.

pff: People can say wrestling is fake all they want. But you can bet if a 6 foot tall 250 pound wrestler is standing there they will shut up. This reporter is to stupid to realize wrestlers take it seriously. Yes its coreographed and the outcome is pre determined but they still dont like the word fake.

Dr "D": this was a real occurance at a WWF event.Stosall (reporter) sufferd eardrum damage and sued WWF and Schultz..Schults was fired and then killed by I belive John Dupont in the late 80's

Wrestler/reporter vid: The reporter is John Stoessel. He suffered parmanent partial hearing loss and was awarded $400,000 by a judge in a suit against Dr.D. This was no staged incident.

It's real: I remember hearing about this, The reporter is Geraldo rivera, Vince Mcmahon told the wrestler to hit him to try to prove that wrestling was real. I think Geraldo sued the WWF.
