  @Real_US_PatriotAll toilets are made of porcelain. Basically clay. Whether made in China, Mexico, Bulgaria or USA this probably would have happened. Because a glass bottle is round, it has incredible strength built in to it... (why the Romans built bridges with arches, they are very stable). Wine bottles are quite thick too ... not surprising.

  @nugheadOnly if you are a moron! A complete toilet may be $100-$200, but the top tank (with the moving parts) is just fine and you will only need to replace the bowl... $100 bucks, tops and might be as cheap as $50. Of course if you are a dipshit who cannot do anything for yourself you verywell may need to hire help to unscrew the 4 bolts required to make the repair
