need more: then 3 hotels in order to make a fair assumption of the entire hotel industry. Just think if this was a race of humans they were talking about? I never use their drinking glasses, only use my hand for water to brush my teeth and drink out of bottled water and soda's.

Upside down glasses?: I learned a while ago that people should NOT dry their glasses upside down because the water doesn't really drain down. The water forms a breading ground for bacteria and even mold when air can not get inside the glass. So not only was the house keeper not cleaning the glasses properly but she was placing them upside down on the counter (trapping the water inside the glass and not allow them to dry properly). Lots of people do this at home and if you smell their glasses you can fain

It's the greedy management, stupid: Hotels are notorious about cutting costs. Either the housekeeping was instructed that this speedy approach was acceptable, or management forces the housekeepers to finish N number of rooms per hour (at minimum wages). Also, this is what tips are for.

Middle Eastern Influence:: Many of the hotels where I live are owned and run by Middle Eastoners and let us remember that these folks eat many of the things we Americans kill with "Raid" or poisens. To Them, those glasses are Clean!

Hotels are nasty: ANY time I stay at ANY hotel...no matter how expensive...I bring my own sheets, my own pillow, sanitize the sink, counters, toilets, bathtub before a bath (not needed for a shower), and use sanitizer wipes on the phone and remote. 20/20, 60 min., dateline..etc...have all done plenty of shows on this stuff folks...it's common knowledge...even in the hospital (ever wonder why staff keeps spreading in hopsital rooms that are supposedly clean?). True staff infections are extremely common in
