   This experiment concludes that most people don't give a shit about some loser that gives you a consent form. Why would they pay attention to an insignificant nerd handing them a consent form? The subjects noticed the consent form. Who the hell cares about a man giving them the form?

  Here's what I noticed: the subjects were handed an informed consent form as soon as they walked up to the desk. Every one of them was dumb enough to sign it on the spot without reading it. The researcher was unethical enough to accept the signed form knowing that the subject had not read it and could not have given "informed consent". Not many researchers take informed consent very seriously. But courts and juries certainly do.

   This shows that our subconscious processes more than our conscience. Most students (and people in general) do not know how to truly "shut off" their mind / thinking processes so they really never grasp the reality of the current moment.
