I thought this was a very cool 15 hour time lapse of the night sky from Paranal Laboratory in Chile.

@Hurtzdoughnut420I don't mean planetary alignment, I mean alignment of the Souls. Souls of us, planet, sun, milky way galaxy's massive black hole soul. "Black Hole Soul". That funny. Our Collective Conscience will awake. Physically the Sun, Earth or the Milky Way Galaxy will align with my penis and your mouth.

Is that visible with the naked eye or was it edited from a microscope so as to look like this?

    • Flumqord

      Flumqord - 2 years ago

@IsmaelCarrascoNeither. It just takes a regular camera and long exposure time. A few seconds to 30 seconds exposure is enough to get awesome pictures, especially in a location with no light pollution. But already at 30 seconds exposure you will get lines from the movement, if the camera doesn't rotate with it.

@IsmaelCarrascoDont they use telescopes to look at stars.

Hmm. Something that seems to be a galaxy (probably Andromeda) appears... that shouldn't really be visible, unless you take a picture with like.... 20 mins of exposure... so... this video must be retouched to the max

    • o23Fluxx

      o23Fluxx - 2 years ago

@DoubleyouOh my.. you are not very intelligent are you? It's the Milky Way (my galaxy) and not some far off galaxy "probably Andromeda". Also: It's a timelapse (look it up) so 20 minutes of exposure per frame wouldn't have been a problem at all. Although, if you take into account that this was in fact the Milky Way and not Andromeda i think 2-4 min might have done it. "retouched to the max".. haha

if the sky is pitch black where you live, the following fact may acour to you. 1 - You live in a city and the spotlights and lights from the streets poison the sky with light making it unable for the stars to pass the light barrier. 2 - you are faced the wrong way. hence the earth is round and the galaxly is in shape of a dish, you are probably facing the void beyond the galaxy. 3 - your house is cursed in an eternal gasp of the void and darkness

Aren't we in the milky way? How come I don't see anything in the sky like that? I dont live in Chili I guess.

    • dach123

      dach123 - 2 years ago

@bigmarcus1i'd guess that each frame is a long exposure, so it collects more light.

    • byFrebn

      byFrebn - 2 years ago

@bigmarcus1How many fps does the eye use and what is the exposure time?

    • dudster81

      dudster81 - 2 years ago

@bigmarcus1probably because you live in a big ass smog filled city! Higher elevation and colder air, no background light, and no damn smog will help you see what they saw! And now I await the posts giving me shit for posting this
