oooAzaelooo - 2 years ago
it was plasma and you don't have to trap the smoke but when you do this it makes toxic gases which can kill

You're: supposed to take the glass bottom off first.

Plasma: I think he was trying to create plasma, if you trap smoke and then stick it in microwave its supposed to create plasma somehow, and it works.
nicrosity - 2 years ago
dammit!: liar! i thought the microwave was actually gonna blow up too!
Luke8902 - 2 years ago
@nicrosity me too: Although this was better coz you see enough microwave blown up on Braniac: Science Abuse. It is just old.
04odavid - 2 years ago
this is: from a british TV show called braniac on sky one. before the experiment, they always give like 2 DONT TRY THIS AT HOME warning, but some dumb fuckers do. and i hope it ruined his microwave ,and he got a bollocking of his parents, cause hes about 10,

Anarchris - 2 years ago
water: he needed a glass of water inside the microwave to catch the stray particles so it doesnt blow his FUSE BOX!!!! (the fuse box costed him 150 bucks, not the microwave alone guys)
Hein_E__Felcher - 2 years ago

...continued: ... makes the material extremely hot, and eventually, creates plasma. Microwaves are NOT responsible for cancer, since it has way too low frequency - regular light has a higher, and therefore more "dangerous", frequency. Infrared light is just heat, but UV light has high enough frequency to cause skin cancer. Any questions? :D
layton59 - 2 years ago
@Sveegaard TWO QUESTIONS FOR A SMART PERSON: Why the use of a candle? Would putting a glass of water have saved his electronics?
Let's clear some things up...: OK here it is: Plasma is a state, where neither protons, neutrons or electrons can hold up together and create an atom. All materials can go to the plasma state. Plasma itself does not light up, but when plasma cools down to a gas again, forming atoms, then it emits light (due to the amout of energy that is not used anylonger after reuniting) The theori of this plasma-microwave phenomona is, that microwaves make electrical materials' atoms (carbon, metal) rotate and creat

wtf: 150$ for a microwave.. go into a store and look for a microwave costing that much... idiot..
thinmantis - 2 years ago
grapes: I have created plasma clouds in my microwave before using grapes. You have to go through a lot of grapes in order to get one that it works with but it is pretty cool. just slice one in half and put the halves face up with the ends touching.

ss: Waves are literally imaginable like this: ~~~~~~ If it's too "high" or "long", the hole for it is too small. This wave could go through this hole: ~O easily.. but it could not go through this one: ~. (I hope you got it, heh <3)
