Employees are not responsible for securing the load. That is, and has ALWAYS been the responsibility of the truck driver. Also, the truck driver is not supposed to pull away from the dock until it is cleared. The 'stupid' employees weren't done. I thing the word "stupid" best applies to Break writers who get it wrong all the time.
why does everyone know so much about store employees and truck drivers.

They do need to secure the load, and Target really should use a Dock-Lock system. With a live load, where the driver is attached to the trailer, a brake lock should be used to keep the driver from attaching his line to the trailer. We had some racks with logs of toilet paper fall out of a truck two times at my work. They didnt put them in correctly and they rolled right out the back. We also had a moron put a forklift on the trailer thinking the e-brake would keep it in and the damn thing rolled right o
