Big thanks to Chris for sending in this clip. It’s a new guided missle system from Lockheed Martin. Apparently, there are no explosives just 125lbs of depleted uranium travelling at about Mach 6 (over 4000 mph). The system takes about 5 seconds to acquire and kill a target 2 miles away. Very cool!

    LOSAT Cancelled: Apparently according to some reliable sources the LOSAT was cancelled in favor of the CKEM which amazingly fires at mach 6.5 and hits with 10 MJ of force If anyone comes up with videos of this now that would be amazing

      @AdminBreakCorrection Regarding DU Penetrator: Amazing weapon system but a small correction the current in service MGM 166 LOSAT uses a tungsten penetrator the missile is a APDSFS round DU has that nice side effect of vaporizing and tungsten is just as cost effective
