That's quite fake, actually. The area where the break happened is quite close to where our elbow would be, and for anyone who knows anything about anatomy, you'd know that our elbow is a joint; two bones connected by tendons and ligaments, with cartilage inbetween to allow smooth movement. If he would have dislodged his elbow, there wouldn't be any cracking sound, nor do I believe his bones are that frail that the slightest knee would snap it like what sounds like a twig.
