My house got hit: Just last week. It burned out the screen on the T.V. I was watching, leaving a blue and green haze around the border of the screen. Lit the house up green and knocked out my DSL, phone lines and tripped half the breakers. LOUD! Glad I wasn't on the phone at the moment.

yeah this is fake: only because lightning=faster then thunder... you see a flash, count 7 seconds, then you will hear the thunder after the 7 seconds. in this video, you see and hear the thunder and lightning

@Myrky You think you are smart, but you aren't ...: The thunder often comes later because sounds travels slower than light. For a distant of 1-2km from the strike to the observer, this would result in a few sec delay. But for the strike that is a few meters away, both the light and sound will come almost immediately, there won't be any delay. Good that you had some thinking, but your knowledge is just not thorough enough to make a right conclusion.
