    @TWIST3DThe hook is definitely there.: You can see it in the between 3-5seconds into the video at the beginning. The hook has its base running trough 3-4steps on the ladder.

  GO CZECHS, GO!: They speak czech so it's from Czech republic. The "run with ladders" is just one of disciplines on Volunteer firefighters' competition. It's pretty serious sport, like ehm.. baseball (well, not that much...). Still, serious enough to grow into something that has just a little common with real firefighting, though. As everywhere, volunteers are many times first at the fire scene, so the more trained they are, the better for us!
