  Kiteboarding is great when you DON'T have a mountain. When you have a mountain, you have gravity...just snowboard. When you have a mountain you have unpredictable gusts, sheer wind & rocks...not good. Snow kiteboarding is better for wide open prairie or a frozen lake, not a bright move around ridgelines and rocks.
