This karate instructor has his students hold two bats and then attempts to break them with a kick. He fails on the first attempt which has got to hurt like hell. His adrenaline kicks in though and he quickly breaks them on the second attempt.

    wow: karate isn't martial arts, it's just a fad. it's like tightrolled jeans and zuba pants, it was cool in the 80s but somehow people still do it. i guess immature american boys will always feel cool when they wear a gi.....

    HA!: Not too hard to do when you line up the bat so that he gets to kick the weak side of the grain. You could check swing and break your bat if you're facing the grain the wrong way.

    Not too impressive: It's really funny watching these karate guys in a real fight with a skilled grappler, they get destroyed.

    I think this is....: Kancho Joko Ninomiya. He breaks bats as an exhibition, but he is the founder of Enshin Karate and is a seriously hardcore dude. He could kick anyone's ass in a street fight. Take a look at Enshin karate sometime. You'll see what I mean.

    dont know nothing bout the streets o the ring do ya?: it is all in your training. you train for the ring then that is what you are ready for, train for fighting in the street, then that is what you will be ready for. sh-t, those who fight in the ring only and try the same on the street, gets a bullet in the ass anyway . in the streets, dont matter what you know, its what you got. Id rather get cuaght with my experience then get caught without it. but dont get caught slipn'. if you dont have nothing...kiss
