    it was a joke, watch the end, he takes his glasses off and says 'dave, well done' he's intentionally acting that way. Its a prank, brilliant by joaquin. letterman just handled it very well.

     Why is that every time some big actor plays a role much larger than they should (i. e. val kilmer in the doors movie, joaquin walk the line) they funking lose their minds? Val had to have months of psychotherapy to realize he wasn't really Jim Morrison, and now Joaquin is losing it.

    Joaquin must never watch the show, or he'd have been expecting Dave to own him. Paris Hilton, Rod Blagojevich, the list goes on. I absolutely love how big-ego celebrities go on the show and then are surprised when Dave reams them. This is no act. You can see Joaquin taking deep breaths and trying to avoid getting pissed because the audience is laughing at him. He is a dumbass for thinking anyone will take him seriously as a hip-hop artist until he proves he can rap. Many whiteboys have tried and died. Hmm.
