  Its a cold plate.. Freezes the bottom of the condiments so they scrape up easier .. Use tide works wonders from what ive heard.

  To be fair it is quite clever, but where is it needed really?? And did anyone notice they are "picking sauces up" off glass NOT cloth, it would be less impressive because it would soak in a little and leave a stain on cloth. Still impressive though, had to watch it a couple if times to work out how it works!!

  actually, if you look carefully, you see it is like one of those rolling bads in stores, ( dont know what they are called in english) it pulls it up as it moves forward, it is real.
