  To all you government educated numbnuts:: Just for the record... the U.S.S. Cole was nearly sunk by one of these "insignificant" boats. This is why we use so much caution. We do have the right to be in international waters. Honestly I think our guys used a tremendous amount of reserve not to blow these things out of the water.

  For all you uninformed people making ignorant generalizations about the U.S. : After spotting the boats, a Navy crew member on the Hopper says over the radio: "This is coalition warship. I am engaged in transit passage in accordance with international law. Intend no harm." The Iranian fleet of high-speed boats charged the U.S. warships and threatened to blow up the Navy convoy as it passed near but outside Iranian waters.

  Phuckers..: It is funny that American warships should feel so threatened by five Iranian “rubber boats”.. Especially considering where they are travelling. I’m quite sure that the US would “forcefully” remove Iranian warships of equal size if they were patrolling along the US coast.. It is funny and very telling how according to the US military (and population) there are different sets of rules applying to the US and “the rest of the world”. Does “double standards” mean anything to the US population???
