A group of researchers from the University of Texas demonstrate that transparent carbon nanotube sheets, which have a strength greater than steel, can be used to make objects invisible.

http://nanotechweb.org/cws/art for an actual explanation of what's going on. It's only transparent from an angle. That's why it's filmed from the side. A little higher quality video would have been great though. Description is wrong, UT Dallas isn't the University of Texas.
