If you look at it....: You can see that there are 2 of them, watch the kid next to the one in the yellow shirt tap him right as he takes the lewt. You can also see that he doesnt do anything but look out while the main guy sets the trap up.

If you watch closer...: You can see him drop something... Probably small amounts of cash. I think thats how he actually distracted the guy. Also at the end before he walks off screen he vanishes....?? Wonder if that lady in the red shirt followed him..
