    @Graphix72lol jhump stfu, i bet u have zero millitary training 1) its not suppressing fire - you fire to supress the enemy when ur activly engaging them. i.e advancing on a position. its basic fire and manouver tactic. 2) gunfighting tactics - its a rifle not a gun. 3) there clearly not engaging an enemy as there parked with the door open. there shooting at nothing. until u have been on the receiving end of incoming fire u wont understand. im telling u now thers no Fvking way ud sit ther in a parked car with th

    @Graphix72Well Mikey, you're not exactly the expert yourself. Just to be clear, here's my credentials. I was in Afghanistan last year with my INFANTRY platoon. We shot from the open door plenty of times during firefights. Closing that door is instant cover. Just make sure the driver didn't park on a hill. The new HMMWV doors weigh 500+ pounds each.

    @Graphix72Modern firefights do required aimed fire, but they also depend on who puts more lead in the air. Until you can accurately locate the enemy it's best to just send rounds they're direction and pin them until you can locate and effectively start engaging individual targets.

Anyone who does their duty for a common cause is alright in my book. But realistically? the U.S.A.F. along with Army Air Corps (yes I know they aren't called that anymore) cover help a shyte ton more than any other kind of air cover... Just my opinion. Take it or leave it.

    @clikcwell...: a lot of reservists carry cameras with them. thats kinda how one can tell an active duty from a reservist. when bombs go off, actives run to bunkers, reservists get their cameras. thats just the way it was for me and my unit at least.
