I'm pretty sure it's not even possible to hit a basketball that far with a baseball bat.. He probably would've freaked out a little more if this was real too.

IT IS POSSIBLE!! I know this is for real, and it maybe a once in a lifetime shot, but IT IS REAL. I don't know where you "coaches" get of saying its impossible. If it wasn't real, then why are they in the finals for the Superbowl half time commercial contest for Dorrittos? Their experts think its real!

Looks possible. The spin makes sense. You can't compare it to baseball as someone tried to do earlier because the "pitch" is coming from the side and the fact the ball isn't being pitched 90mph. Although it appears like he is pulling it to the right he is actually pushing it slightly causing it to curve left. The noise by the way was not the swoosh it was the ball bouncing off the back board. Not really sure how you got that confused. Even how the ball bounces off the backboard makes sense. ghost gots it but u dont rlly need the spin when you throw it the size is wat helps small ball less of the bat is affecting it big ball that can bend or squish idk how or wat to say witch it is to make it short since he folled threw he put spin on it with the bat

It is a fake. Pure Physics of that basketball are impossible. I'm a hitting coach for baseball. Have you ever watched a left hander "pull the ball". It always has forward spin. The only time a lefty can hit it and it spin back like that is when they go "opposite field" ---the trajectory of that ball makes it a physical impoosiblity for that shot to go in to that basket---Someone wanted the explanation to why this is a fake...THERE YOU GO!

  @MatthewNorrisThe wind was blowing at 7 knots in a northeasterly direction that day, which indicates that the barometric level was low. Therefore, the balls elasticity factor is increased. The position of the sun in the sky allows for a more true curvature of the earth and therefore this shot is possible.Of course taking into account all other possible factors that might effect the truthiness of this video.
