If I did the math right I think they are almost 2 miles away from the blast. It took approx 9.3 seconds for us to hear it. sound Travels at 343 meters per second. 343 x 9.3 = 3190 meters (rounded up). 3190 meters = 1.98 miles.

@JERICHOYeah, but did you take into account the lag in the audio from the video??

@JERICHODid you take into account the size of my penis?

    • nitsua

      nitsua - a year ago

@JERICHO343 m/s is @ room temperature (70.0F) If this is overseas, its probably around 90, therefor allowing the air molecules to bump into each other quicker. So it's probably more like 1.83 miles.

yes you can judge the distance. it took nine seconds for the sound to get to them. speed of sound is 1,125 ft/s. it was around 10,125 ft away.

    • fbade9e36a3f

      fbade9e36a3f - 2 years ago

@XXXthedude420XXXspeed of sound through warm air (afghan desert air) is faster

    • nathanael

      nathanael - 2 years ago

@XXXthedude420XXXnope speed of sound is faster through colder air as it is denser! not the it makes any measurable in the order of magnitude of seconds.
