Ive read up on this since I watched the video and I have found a lot of people claim for whatever scientific reason a solid piece of glass will actually cut with an ordinary pair of scissors underwater.

@navyguy50Sound doesnt travel better under water bro, it has more resistance, hydro resistance is quite more intense the aero resistance. Take an elementary physics class or something so youre brain isnt mushy and week.

@navyguy50Good job Navyguy50 for actually paying attention in Science class, when they explain the frequencies of different waves lengths etc. Water changes wave lengths detrimentally, on top of that watch any Discovery channel show about Dolphins, Whales, or other water animals and they discribe using SOUNDS IN WATER because it travels farther do to an extention of the wave length. Also sound traveling in water has NOTHING to do with physics, it's "Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Control" Good luck using Physics to p

This does work because...: The glass breaks when it vibrates too fast. The water does something to make the vibration weaker or not break the glass

I tried this!!!: With a good pair of scissors and single strength 1/8 inch glass.... it doesnt cut the glass at all, it just a glorified break.... all it did was prevent it from shattering, but the cut was anything but clean!!!
