@Lloyd-Spectre-318 Look in the video it does have German License in the front. I guess where they live, front License plates are not the law so the German ones are decorative.

maybe the kid loved his car? the free labor and cost of parts for sure cost less than a new car. also, it's very unoriginal to just buy a car for someone. it's an amazing gesture because of the thought and effort involved. that being said, I think the kid was seriously underwhelmed and would have preferred a Ford Festiva over that restored POS.
