@dubramaster203no it was liquid nitrogen it was in a cup, dry ice is in blocks and would never have that quick of a reaction even in water which is the most reactive.

Not dry ice.: It is liquid nitrogen and it is a great way to make ice cream if you stir it in slowly with a spoon. Putting a lid on it and turning on the blender caused it to flash and expand 800 times.

@SgtDomoKunDry Ice: It sublimes, ace-whole. Its melting point is extremely low, so it just skips and goes to vaporizing. That's also why it exploded. Gas built up quick. That's how dry ice bombs work

@quetalzWelll...: I just read an international poll that said US leadership was thought of as less favorable internationally than China's. Most people here in the US still think the war with Iraq had something to do with the September 11th 2001 terrorist attack on the WTC. Hopefully after November we can start mending some fences internationally.
