    @GTcruisermanwell...: technically the fire makes the dogs warm. The propane is the fuel that mixes with oxygen to create the fire. But hey man, you were very close! At least you knew it was fuel that blew up and not the hot dogs!

    @fwuffyIt was during 'de gentse feesten': It's like a big 10 day festival in the middle of the city Gent and some dumbass parked his car a little to hard on a gas canister, but it was awesome

  Propane vs butane???: Maybe in europe they use butane. In the states (if it is a hot dog wagon) they use propane. Regardles of that, any stored liquid gas will do just that when it cant vent if exposed to heat! Look up BLEVE and get a little science lesson.

  ?????: It was propane!!! Its called a BLEVE. Boiling, Liquid, Evaorating, Vapor, Explosion. It happens any time a contained vessel is expposes to heat and cant vent. Just like a paint can thrown in a fire.

  Spitburger stand: It was in Ghent (Flanders, Belgium) at a festival called "Gentse Feesten" and it was a spitburger stand. The accident was caused by a ruptured gas canister.

  Hot dog stands use: propane tanks to keep burners lit to keep hot dogs warm in hot water. The explosion was from a propane tank.......or maybe it was the propane accessories....
