At first I was like this is so fake but I talked to a doctor friend of mine and sure enough in very rare cases of leprosy you can get growths on your skin that look like tree roots and bark. Might be the grossest thing Ive ever seen.

    Deffo: Not fake, I watched a whole documentery on discovery about this guy... and its not leporosy, they dont actually know what it is.. its some sort of viral infection, similat to that of warts but this is an extreme case... as of yet theres no cure... during the documentery the guy was having biopsys done of the warts on his face to see if they could perform surgery or develop an antibiotic to hold back the gowth... not sure what the out come was... if you get the chance to see the documentery, you shou

    Dede: has made several appearances in Bizarre magazine -- he works as a sideshow and the documentary that you linked only threw him a bare minimum as a freak appearance. Supposedly his condition is entirely curable (it has nothing to do with leprosy btw), but unless some world-wide sob story comes around he's pretty much screwed given his financial circumstances. on another note, he's awesome as a person so don't poke fun at the tree-man please.
