  @Pumahawk no spotters: can stop that weight falling down that quickly.. they're there to spot not catch falling weight.. think about how quick u'd have to stop it, especially since they'd be catching the bar (not the actual weight which is 4-6 inches lower) so they'd have to almost catch it the instant he dropped it buddy

Using thumbs or not: Doesn't matter, genius patrol. Your thumbs aren't going to stop you from dropping that much weight on you from that position. Besides most people I know including the guy I work out with (who normally does 285 sets) don't use thumbs. It's just a matter of keeping your palm facing upward, unlike this genius.

uh...: Actually if anyone noticed there's a black iron plate on the end (assuming on both sides). looks to be a 25 lb plate, even if it's a 10 lb plate that's still 405 lbs (or 435lbs if the plates are 25). That's a lot I've seen large guys in the gym struggle with 380 lbs.
