Now there is no doubt that this dude was not listening to the cop and deserved to get tazed. However, I definetly think police get a little kick out of doing this. At the very least it definetly helps them keep their cool knowing they hold a trump card in their back pocket.

  @dltolliverwell of course the cop had him take a seat afterwards. You can't really expect a guy to really stand up w/o any problems after you zapped them with 50,000 volts of electricity, thus reducing their blood sugar down to nearly nothing.

What the hell was that?????: I thought that to use a tazer on a suspect, they had to be they had to be at level 3 on the force matrix. This was a unjustified deployment of the tazer. Why did'nt the officer just arrest after the fact the suspect was going to refuse to do anything the officer said? THERE WAS NO THREAT!!!!!! BAD COP NO DONUT

A tazer...: Is not a tool used in sobriety tests. It should be used for not lethal self defense. This man was absolutely no threat to the officer. At the very worst the man should have been convicted for the OUI for not cooperating with the test. The officer should be arrested and charged with assault.

Got Suspeded: The tazer was NOT created for this purpose, regardless of how the cop felt, that's why he got suspended. This kind of reckless behavior makes people hate good cops, what an ass.
