im 100% sure is a black powder rifle. looks to be a tc encore. ive been hunting and shooting my whole life and what he did wrong and why the gun destroyed itself is because he didn't push the bullet tight enough against the powder leaving a space in between the two basically making it a bomb.

@yourmomishot That'd be my guess, too. There wasn't enough smoke for that to have been more than 20 or so grains if it were pyrodex which is nothing for a rifle to handle.
