    Where the HE!LL was PETI (People for the Ethical Treatment of Insects)????! I don't care if the ants weren't in the colony when it was filled w/ concrete, when they come home and have to rebuild, life is gonna suck. ;-)

    Just for all of you people who are american... or just silly (So most of you) The ants had been gone for some time, JUST BECAUSE ITS A WONDER OF THE WORLD DOESN'T MEAN THERE'S ONLY ONE, If you people who are all "OMG THEY KILLED ALL THE ANTS" examine your own lives you will see your doing far more harm to the world than those guys

    Dear bafoons, First of all these are educated people and they obviously checked if the colony was abandoned, you know, like no one home at all. After they investigated this easy task, they poured in the cement. FOR SCIENCE (for science) And in regards to some tart down there who thinks that this is the only one of its kind, is supremely close minded. Im sure there are even bigger ones elsewhere. capiche?

    We just saw and episode of 'Nature' called 'Animal House' and they covered this wonder. They said the colony had been abandoned for some time, so in reality, the 'housing' has been preserved.
