    I helped make this video, and when we finished me & the camera guy and the lighter guy went into the bathtub and bit lots of bubbles. That is waaay cooler than it seems too.

    It'd be lots more fun igniting methane from somebody's rear.

    Sunken so low that you are stealing videos from popular science these days? lol

    Also, that did not look "fun" for anyone involved.(even the Hydro-bubs)

    Lame Hydrogen bubbles aside, where on Earth can i get a nifty candle holder like the one in they were using in the video?

     Ever heard of water electrolysis? A battery and 2 H2O -> 2H2 + O2. That's how you get pure dihydrogen on one pole and pure dioxygen on the other. Don't you americans learn anything in school?

    • DayWalkingGinger

      DayWalkingGinger - 2 years ago

      @Broncos666Hey, I already knew that! Not all Americans are stupid... just most of them.

      @Broncos6662 H2O -> H2 + O2. nub

      @Broncos666your all dumb its 2H20-> 2H2+O2

    • madman_mark

      madman_mark - 2 years ago

      @Broncos666your all pretty stupid. water electrolysis doesnt produce bubbles. it just makes it gather at the poles. and it isnt that fast. water electrolysis happens over a period of time with a continuous current. its soap water with hydrogen gas being pumped through it. if electryolysis happened that quickly everytime somebody commited suicide in the bathtub with a toaster we would have a similar effect, which DOESNT happen lol.

      InstructionalVid - 2 years ago

      @Broncos666yeah but then agian if he is using a hydrogen tank and he has a candle that pretty stupid too, besides 1 third of hte bubbles would be oxygen.

    Man!: I was hoping these guy swould have lit the bowl. That would be an awesome explosion. :)

    • ScrubbyXD

      ScrubbyXD - 2 years ago

      @InChristAloneNo it wouldn't. It would be just like the others. That wasn't a bowl of hydrogen. That was a bowl of soap water with hydrogen being bubbled through it. There was no more hydrogen in the bowl than in the bubbles that floated up.

     I wonder if thats pure hydrogen. It didn't say

    • Nwordjim

      Nwordjim - 2 years ago

      @Cnezomg you are so stupid it so totally said PURE HYDROGEN in the begging i mean maybe in the second part when the explosions changed its hard to tell what it was because it didnt say, but comon, it was obviously pure in the beggining

    • patww99

      patww99 - 2 years ago

      @Cnezi know it said it, but thats definately not PURE hydrogen, think, hydrogen is an element, and gas form at room temp. They had to have added something to the hydrogen to create the bubbles.

    • DustyJ22

      DustyJ22 - 2 years ago

      @Raft3rmanexcept that was methane

    • Zeazi

      Zeazi - 2 years ago

      @Raft3rmanDustyJ22 shouldve paid more attention in grade 9 science; electrolysis separates water into Hydrogen gas and Oxygen gas. Methane shouldve already been at gas form in room temperature and would not have bubbled out of a liquid.

    • JarikCBol

      JarikCBol - 2 years ago

      @Raft3rmanZeazi, you're an idiot. they are bubbling hydrogen through soapy water. electrolysis is far to slow to make bubbles like that.
