In the 1960s, Dr. Peter Witt gave spiders various kinds of drugs and alcohol to observe the effects on their webs. The results were pretty interesting. Just like humans, the best spider artists are usually pretty high most of the time. Opening up new parts of the human/spider mind to find some real creativity and forms that we never knew about. Whatever the causes are, we can all agree, this spider is tripping off his face when he makes this thing.
